The Sin Eater (Short Film)

The Sin Eater is a folk-comedy-horror starring The Lovely Boys. Sin Eating is an old protestant rite from Wales and Hereford but performed by many different cultures and religions in different ways and this film has its own twisted take on it. It pokes fun at tradition, class and family dynamics. With themes of generational trauma, death and the sacrifices made by those who are disadvantaged in our society. The film is a collaboration between friends and family, shot with a micro budget of a thousand pounds and a lot of love. The film recently premiered at the launch of the second addition of Doozy Magazine to rapturous laughter.
